January 6. 1945 Off  Fabrica, Negros, PI
    After being hit by A/A over Fabrica, which set the bomb bay and navigators compartment afire, Lt Simpson ditched the plane immediately. The tail section broke off.

    Lts Simpson, Lewis and Williams and Sgt Kline got out and were picked up although  three of them were burned pretty badly.
